Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) is a comprehensive two-year college of the Virginia Community College System, serving the City of Martinsville and the counties of Henry and Patrick. PHCC is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, a stone’s throw from the popular Smith River and the famous Martinsville Speedway, a charter NASCAR member. We are one-hour south of Roanoke and one-hour north of Greensboro.
Patrick Henry Community College is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor. This individual will deliver and coordinate technical training along with information and instructional classes associated with advanced manufacturing. This individual will have the flexibility to both teach and train for workforce courses as well as work closely with students. The Advanced Manufacturing Instructor will assist in coordinating faculty and scheduling for the mobile training lab as well as other manufacturing programs within Workforce, Economic, and Community Development. The selected candidate will join the Coordinator of Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Training in building this new brand program at the college in a rapidly growing and relevant career field.
Salary: $25.00 an hour. This is an hourly wage position with no health benefits. Scheduled work hours ranging to a maximum of 29-hours per week on average. Grant-funded position contingent on continued funding.
Associate degree in related field or education, training, and/or work experience in a related field that demonstrates the ability to perform essential functions of the job required. Prior experience with training and teaching required. Valid driver’s license required.
